An accredited test house is testing the products for EN54-16 certification

There has been a lot of discussion in the industry regarding EN54 – a new European standard became Law in April 2011. The company takes pride in manufacturing systems which comply to (and frequently exceed) current standard legislation and have taken the following action:

EN54-16: Fire Alarm and Fire Alarm Systems. Voice Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment:

In order to gain EN54-16 certification products have to be tested by an accredited test house – the company cannot simply claim that their products comply.

With this in mind the company is currently undergoing third party EN54-16 testing. Due to their extensive range of products, this could be a lengthy process. The company expects to have full certification available in 3-4 months.

EN54-4: Fire Alarm and Fire Alarm Systems. Power Supply Equipment:

The VIGIL BVSMP power supply unit has previously been tested to EN54-4 and certification is available on request.
