| Baldwin Boxall’s new touchscreen microphone will soon be the choice for VIGIL3 voice alarm systems |
VIGIL3 - Baldwin Boxall's latest voice alarm development - will be previewing at Firex International. This impressive exhibition, part of the Protection & Management Series, has a new venue for 2014 - the ExCeL London.
Also being introduced at Firex International will be Baldwin Boxall's latest microphone which features a clear, seven inch, touchscreen display. Using the same sleek profile as the BVRD and BDM microphone ranges Baldwin Boxall’s new touchscreen microphone will soon be the choice for VIGIL3 voice alarm systems. The new microphone will also be compatible with established VIGIL2 systems, providing users with the option to swap out current microphones, should they wish to do so.
From the microphone it will be possible to set up and control the entire VIGIL3 system - with the ability to take control during an emergency event such as an evacuation.
During the commissioning stage of an installation, it will be a straightforward procedure to set up the microphone for any size of system. The layout and display (like Baldwin Boxall's already popular touchscreen PC systems) will be intuitive to operate.
The unit will have the facility to record and play back messages at any given time and it will have a local music input. As customers would expect from Baldwin Boxall, there will also be the facility to have a hard wire bypass for use in the unlikely event of a system failure. Another benefit will be the ability to access various logs including history and faults using the touchscreen.
Visitors to Baldwin Boxall's Plug & Socket stand (Q300) at Firex will be able to learn more about VIGIL3 and to see the system in action.
FIREX International will be at the ExCel London - 17-19 June.
