Barix will demonstrate how consumers can use its Audio Point mobile app to access multichannel audio streams
Barix emphasises its audio signage and in-store radio solutions at the show

Barix comes to the NEC Showcase in London (May 14-15) with a unique twist on audio communications in retail and hospitality environments. The company exhibits its latest digital out-of-home solutions across various interactive zones at the show, demonstrating how businesses, schools and organisations (including transit centers) can better engage consumers and generate revenue streams through a stronger audio presence and modern IP architectures.

Barix emphasises its audio signage and in-store radio solutions at the show, both introduced to public audiences in February at the ISE show in Amsterdam. The Barix audio signage solution is particularly unique, leveraging IP networks and broadcast-quality audio to give video screens a voice in any environment. The solution drives deeper engagement with consumers through immersive mobile streaming applications and a multisensory approach to high-quality, out-of-home content delivery.

In the Leisure & Entertainment interactive zone, Barix demonstrates how consumers can use its Audio Point mobile app to access multichannel audio streams — delivered in perfect synchronisation with video signage feeds. The personalised approach delivers a multisensory experience with a BYOD twist to drive deeper engagement with consumers — whether as part of a retail omnichannel strategy to drive sales; or to inform and entertain consumers in hospitality, transport or other environments.

In the Retail interactive zone, Barix showcases its cutting-edge, all-inclusive SoundScape in-store radio platform. SoundScape gives service providers and end users a complete solution to manage and distribute audio programs over IP networks — including high-quality music and dynamic, targeted ad insertions. In addition to managing (and switching between) live streams and stored playlists, operators can remotely monitor and manage the entire multipoint network, from configuring devices to updating player software.

“Our engaging out-of-home solutions bring businesses closer to their patrons, increasing brand awareness, driving sales and enhancing communications,” said Ronni Guggenheim, CEO, Barix. “These immersive audio signage and dynamic in-store radio solutions help our customers move audio over IP networks with very minimal delay, ensuring they have the appropriate tools to attract and retain audiences.”
