Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, will be hosting a speaking session at the 2015 BICSI Winter Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida. Presented by Michael Frank, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for Biamp®, the session titled “When People Hear What You Say: Exploring Great Audio Advancements & Practices in AV Integration” will explore how today’s exciting audio innovations are impacting the delivery of integrated AV solutions. The session will take place on Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Audio design innovations
In his presentation, Frank will discuss how innovative audio solutions can easily accommodate the increasing requirement to satisfy diverse network protocols such as AVB, CobraNet®, and Dante™. The talk will also explore how to successfully design infrastructures for unified communications (UC) systems by taking advantages of market advances in soft codec options, while explaining how soundscaping can add value to commercial AV installations. In addition, the session will examine case studies, provide a discussion for participants, and review the manufacturer solutions currently available within today’s AV marketplace.
“With the increase of multi-use spaces within our work environments comes the need to accommodate an entirely new range of acoustic and technical challenges,” said Frank. “By looking at the advances in architecture, network infrastructure, and audio innovation that are bringing increased value to AV installation projects, the presentation will show integrators the key points of designing systems that leverage the benefits of more impactful sound.”
