The sessions will offer insight into microphone gain control & best practices for unified communications |
Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, will host two speaking sessions at InfoComm China 2016, April 13-15 at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing. These sessions, titled “UC&C and Huddle Spaces,” and “The Power of Automatic Gain Control: Efficiency, Consistency, & High-quality Audio,” will be presented by Kane Zhang, CTS, CCNA, ENS, a Senior Application Engineer for Biamp.
The “UC&C and Huddle Spaces” session, held on April 13 and April 14 in Mandarin and English respectively, will outline the audio solutions, video hardware, design considerations, and integration best practices behind today’s most successful huddle room installations. The “Power of Automatic Gain Control: Efficiency, Consistency & High-quality Audio” session, held on April 15 in Mandarin, will explain why Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is an important, but often misunderstood, feature used to condition microphone or source audio signals.
“InfoComm China provides a great opportunity to discuss the emerging trends in collaboration technology and how new technologies should be integrated to enhance any meeting for increased productivity,” said Zhang. “Today success depends on getting the most out of the equipment we use, and on understanding how technology that simulates true face-to-face interactions should be incorporated into AV solutions that maintain biometric and encryption security protocols within the enterprise space.”
As Biamp’s Senior Application Engineer, Zhang provides technical support to clients in the Asia-Pacific region, and has extensive experience working with a wide variety of audiovisual systems, including but not limited to various conferencing, background music, and public address systems. He specialises in DSP programming, networking, and third-party control applications. He has been involved with the system design and commissioning of many large-scale projects in the region, including the Galaxy Macau Hotel, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Lotte World Tower in Korea.
