Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Bucklin as the new Area Manager for Southern California-Southwest Area. He will be based in California and report to Brent Stark, Southwest Regional Manager for Biamp Systems.
In his new role as the Area Manager for Southern California-Southwest Area, Bucklin will oversee all sales and installations in the region. Joining us from his previous position as a Design Consultant with Shen, Milsom & Wilke in San Francisco, Bucklin was responsible for the design, engineering and specification of audiovisual systems for a wide range of project sizes. He also acted as the internal project manager on several multi-discipline projects involving AV, telecommunications, IT systems, and acoustics and security solutions.
Having worked as an installation technician and field engineer in Massachusetts early in his career, Bucklin moved to California in 2006 and continued to grow as a project engineer. Bucklin has been working in the design, engineering, and sales fields for over a decade, and will now use his expertise to expand Biamp's customer and partner relationships in his region.
