Portland Business Journal names Biamp Systems to 2013 Healthiest Employers of Oregon list |
As a leading provider of innovative healthcare AV solutions, Biamp Systems has been named to the 2013 Healthiest Employers of Oregon list by the Portland Business Journal.
Awarded every year, the Healthiest Employers program is designed to recognize companies who are demonstrating innovation and leadership in their wellness programs. In addition to providing employees and their families with comprehensive healthcare options, Biamp Systems has a Wellness Committee whose sole mission is to promote health, wellness, and nutrition awareness throughout the company.
Biamp's employee incentive program, For the Love of Good Health, includes wellness opportunities such as brown bag lunch education sessions, complementary health screenings, a yearly Biggest Loser Challenge, and an annual 5-A-Day Veggie Challenge.
"Providing employees with quality health coverage is a great benefit of working at Biamp," said Dayna Lyons, Biamp Systems Director of Human Resources. "But giving people the chance to be proactive with their wellness is the healthiest option. We're honored the Portland Business Journal selected us for this award, and we're grateful to our employees for choosing to prioritize their health and wellness."
Companies selected were honored in the fourth annual Healthiest Employers of Oregon awards luncheon held at the Hilton Hotel in Portland, Oregon.
