| Biamp Systems new TesiraLUX™ wins Sound & Video Contractor’s Best of Show award |
Biamp Systems, a provider of innovative, networked media systems, announces that the company was honoured with six industry awards at InfoComm 2016 in Las Vegas. Accolades included a Sound & Video Contractor Best of Show award for TesiraLUX™; an SCN/InfoComm Installation Product Award and AV Technology Best of Show Award for the company’s Devio™ collaboration tool; a Global Presence Alliance (GPA) Partner Award; and two rAVe Readers’ Choice Awards.

TesiraLUX and Devio main attractions
Biamp Systems received a NewBay Media Best of Show Award from Sound & Video Contractor magazine for its newly unveiled, TesiraLUX. Introducing low-latency, 4K networked video capabilities to the Tesira® solutions platform, TesiraLUX transports both audio and video signals over a single network through the reliability of AVB/TSN. Tesira, with TesiraLUX, is the only network AV solution on the market today that can handle both audio and video processing. The TesiraLUX product line includes an AVB video encoder (TesiraLUX IDH-1) and an AVB video decoder (TesiraLUX OH-1). The encoder features one HDMI® port, one DisplayPort™ port, and includes two mic/line level analogue inputs. The decoder includes one HDMI port and two line-level analogue outputs.

Biamp Systems’ Devio collaboration tool redefines the user experience in huddle rooms and small meeting spaces, making collaboration fast, simple, and intuitive. With its single-box solution (Devio CR-1) and advanced beamforming microphones (Devio DTM-1 and DCM-1), meetings are equipped with exceptional audio quality and easy-to-use video conferencing solution that enhances participants’ experience and facilitates meeting productivity. At InfoComm, Devio was honoured with a 2016 SCN/InfoComm Installation Product Award in the “Most Innovative Audio Processing (Switching, Routing, Transport, and Control)” category and a NewBay Media Best of Show Award from AV Technology magazine.
Evaluation of AV products
The SCN/InfoComm Installation Product Awards showcase the most innovative commercial AV products of the previous year. An independent panel of judges chose finalists, with winners selected by the magazine’s readers. Winners of AV Technology’s Best of Show Awards were selected by five expert judges, who evaluated each product on the show floor based on proposed value proposition/ROI, richness and relevance of the feature set, perceived ease of installation, ease of management, and user friendliness.
At InfoComm, Biamp Systems was presented with a 2016 GPA Partner Award in recognition of the company’s excellence in product innovation, sales and marketing programs, and customer service for global customers and partners. The GPA is a partner network of audio, video, and unified communications companies that helps people work better together, from all over the world.
rAVe Readers’ Choice Awards
Finally, Biamp Systems was honoured with rAVe Readers’ Choice Awards in the categories of “Favourite Manufacturer Sales Support Team” and “Favourite Systems Product” for the company’s Tesira digital signal processor (DSP)-based media system. rAVe publications’ readers — including AV dealers, integrators, consultants, and designers — who voted to select the most impactful products and companies in 29 unique categories, determined the winners.
