Extreme will showcase intelligent networking solutions for data centers, campuses and physical security |
Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, is sponsoring Extreme Networks in Chicago where they will exhibit Tesira and other AVB-capable audio equipment in a fully-customised, 18-wheel semi-truck. Chicago is the next stop on the Liberation Tour, where Extreme will showcase intelligent networking solutions for data centers, campuses, mobility, and physical security.
Making its debut at the company's Global Partner Conference in Miami in October 2012, the Extreme truck has been bringing hands-on demonstrations of the cloud, software-defined networking (SDN), and network mobility to industry tradeshows, sporting events, and customer locations all over the country. The tour includes such cities as New York City, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas.
"Extreme Networks' mission from the start was to liberate customers from complexity and cost through innovation. The Network Liberation Tour allows our customers, prospects and partners to get to know us, and experience the breadth of our technology first hand," said David Ginsburg, CMO for Extreme Networks.
The 1,200 square feet of space in the truck combines elements of an executive conference room, an interactive classroom, a lounge, and breakout meeting areas. Featuring the absolute latest in next generation network technologies, Network Liberation Tour attendees will marvel at what Extreme Networks has in store for the AV/IT industry, and the world beyond.
"We're excited about the opportunity to provide our integrators, consultants, and end-users a hands-on demo of how AVB networking is integrating across industries," said Chris Chandler, North Central US Regional Manager for Biamp. "It's an excellent example of how AV and IT have converged."
