Biamp will also feature latest additions to Tesira DSP platform and Vocia networked PA and evacuation system |
Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, has announced that during InfoComm India 2015 it will be presenting two speaking sessions titled “The Exploration of Networked Audio Protocols: AVB, CobraNet & Dante” on Sept. 2 from 3:30 p.m. 5:00 p.m., and “UC&C and Huddle Spaces” on Sept. 3 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; both sessions will be held in Room 2. It will also provide attendees a first-hand look at the latest additions to the company’s award-winning Tesira® digital signal processors (DSP) platform and Vocia® its award-winning networked public address and evacuation system. InfoComm India will be held in Mumbai from Sept. 1-3 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.
“As AV solutions are increasingly required to integrate with IT infrastructures, it is critical to understand how to design and deliver what the end user needs while meeting IT’s network requirements,” said Robin Ghose, regional manager of the SAARC region for Biamp Systems. “This year at InfoComm India we’re excited to present on both protocol technology and how to leverage this knowledge specifically for huddle rooms, while providing attendees an opportunity to see first-hand how Biamp is expanding the reach and flexibility of our DSP technology.”
Latest additions to Tesira DSP platform and Vocia 1.7 PA and evacuation system
Attendees will learn about the recently introduced Lync Enterprise Voice integration and a new HD-1 hardware dialer for the Tesira platform. Vocia 1.7 launched enhancements such as new 2RU amplifiers, passive end-of-line monitoring devices (PLDs), live inter-world paging, and increased recorded message times of up to 30 minutes.
The Exploration of Networked Audio Protocols: AVB, CobraNet & Dante
The speaking session, “The Exploration of Networked Audio Protocols: AVB, CobraNet & Dante,” presented by Biamp Applications Engineer, Godwin Mathew, will provide session participants with details and context on the specific features and functions of these protocols, and how these standards are not mutually exclusive. The talk will also focus on the ability to route from the mechanics of layer 2 and layer 3 and its place within today’s different audio protocols.
UC&C and Huddle Spaces
During the “UC&C and Huddle Spaces,” session the company’s Regional Manager, Robin Ghose, will look into the audio solutions, video hardware, design considerations, and integration best practices behind today’s most successful huddle room installations — explaining the different solution pairings for ensuring quality communication between collaborations and how to maintain both biometric and encryption security protocols.
