Biamp will increase its focus on solutions that are designed to maximise system resources while simplifying system administration |
Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative networked media systems, recently announced it will bring a lineup of Networked Media Systems (NMS) to InfoComm 2015. Held in Orlando, Florida, from June 17-19, the AV industry’s most important event will see Biamp® increase its focus on solutions that are designed to maximise system resources while simplifying system administration.
Unveil variety of new offerings
“At InfoComm 2015, Biamp will unveil the largest variety of new offerings,” said Shell Haffner, Director of Product Management, Biamp Systems. “As facilities evolve toward more consolidated AV/IT infrastructures and begin to position themselves for the oncoming IoT revolution, our new platforms and solutions are geared toward readying installations for greater media transport efficiencies by sharing processing power and networking resources. Our new products promise to take systems, administrations, and the design process to entirely new levels of performance.”
Promoting Networked Media Systems
At InfoComm 2015, Biamp will focus on promoting Networked Media Systems, which leverage existing networks to deliver both audio and control signals across entire facilities — enabling benefits such as increased collaboration, ability to integrate networked AV media into facilities’ existing IT infrastructure, and the incorporation of today’s rapidly expanding ecosystem of devices. Using Biamp’s full roster of platforms and solutions, integrators can easily create system design topologies that meet precise customer needs — whether it’s a decentralised, centralised, distributed, or hybrid system approach. Biamp’s solutions are also equipped to take advantage of the opportunities created by the Internet of Things (IoT) and the shift toward AVB/Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) as it occurs.
