Bosch and Electro-Voice (EV) are now part of the action at Hogs Bar. Located along Joo Chiat Road in Singapore, Hogs Bar is a casual bar and diner that enjoys a reputation as a biker bar that is friendly to non-bikers.
Besides its ever-expanding menu, one of Hogs Bar’s main draws is its entertainment lineup, which includes both live band performances and live sports entertainment, such as NBA games and the Super Bowl.
TNT Audio Visual designed a professional sound solution that can be easily managed across four zones that cover the bar and diner’s indoor and outdoor areas.
A Bosch PLENA matrix eight-channel DSP matrix mixer forms the heart of the solution, providing complete control over audio configuration and signal processing. Users can simply walk into any given zone and confidently mix and select inputs whilst controlling output levels.
A PLENA panel controller with basic user controls such as volume and source selection was also installed within each zone. This means that each zone that runs audio sources and content from cable TV, video streaming, laptops, and wireless microphones can be managed with ease via an iPad or wall-mounted controller. Staff members at Hogs Bar can now manage the sound system for the whole restaurant from wherever they are.
Weather-resistant EV EVID 4.2 surface-mounted speakers provide an ideal solution for the outdoor area at Hogs Bar, balancing streamlined aesthetics with outstanding audio quality for their size. Powered by an EV Q44 amplifier, the EVIDs deliver warm, clear sound with plenty of low-frequency response. In addition, wireless EV R300-HD microphone systems compliment the bands and artistes perfectly, adding finesse to live performances.
