| Dynacord Promatrix 8000 will complement its proven Praesideo technology |
Bosch Security Systems has launched the Dynacord Promatrix 8000, a new professional audio and voice alarm system to complement its proven Praesideo technology and designed for applications where a matrix-based system is required.
The system – which has now also been certified to the EN54-16 fire safety standard – combines professional sound with voice alarm functionality to eliminate the need for venues having to acquire separate systems, explains Paul Ward, Head of Sales for Bosch’s Communication Products: “Our Praesideo technology is very much the accepted standard for the vast majority of public address/voice alarm applications,” he says.
“However, there are certain scenarios – in larger stadia or in multi-purpose venues with a variety of different needs at different times – where a matrix system with multiple audio inputs and uses may be preferred and where the Dynacord Promatrix 8000 is ideal.”
Paul says that EN54-16 certification of the system also now provides venues with the possibility of having an integrated professional audio and PA/VA capability that meets the latest fire safety standards: “It is a logical and exciting extension to the range,” he concludes.
