Bosch UK displayed DYNACORD and Electro-Voice products in its new showroom |
On September 25th Robert Bosch's UK ProSound Team invited their sales partners from the United Kingdom to their housewarming party in Peterborough. Cause for the celebrations was the opening of the new demo and showroom. Robert Hesse, Vice President Sales Communication EMEA and Managing Director of EVI Audio GmbH as well as Sean Maxwell, Sales Director UK, and his team were delighted to welcome guests from all over the UK. Visitors included MI retailers, rental companies, installation contractors and representatives of the media.
Highlight of the day was the official opening of the new premises by the guests of honor George Simons, Mayor of Peterborough, and Andrew Castle, Vice President Finance and Administration Bosch UK. “Our sales team have long anticipated the opening of our new building including its fully equipped demo room”, says Sean Maxwell. “It offers an ideal acoustic environment to hear products as they should be heard – as our guests could experience for themselves on the day.” In the future, the building will also be available for clients’ use, as Robert Hesse adds: “From now on our customers will have the possibility to familiarize themselves with our products in action and check out various set-ups.”
Numerous product and sound demos featuring the latest offerings from the brands DYNACORD and Electro-Voice and a workshop with IRIS-Net as its theme were also on the agenda as well as an auction of around 70 Electro-Voice and DYNACORD products. Information stands and the opportunity to experience the new showroom as well as dart competitions completed the program. Robert Hesse’s conclusion: “With more than 80 participants, the housewarming surely met our expectations. Our new facility will strengthen our market position in the UK, by providing the opportunity for on-site sound demos and training courses. Despite the day’s varied program, our housewarming party gave us plenty of opportunity to engage closely with our customers.”
