Straubing provided the setting for another edition of Dynacord’s Academies. Focusing on Live Sound for both the rental and install markets, Dynacord experts from Sales and Tech Support were pleased to welcome 23 participants from the Czech Republic, Portugal, Tunisia and South Africa.
The two-day series of seminars was opened by presentations of Dynacord’s live sound systems such as Vertical Array, VariLine and Cobra loudspeaker series as well as the new PM 502 powered mixer, amps and IRIS-Net software. After receiving the technical background on the systems, it was the individual, hands-on experience of each participant that was placed at the center of the Academy. “We want our participants to really feel, touch and experience our products”, explains Frauke Jungbluth, Sales Manager Europe. “That’s why our program comprised the whole process of creating a live sound system.” Items on the agenda included rigging, loudspeaker, bass and delay set-up and tuning as well as DSP configuration. A special highlight was the possibility to simulate systems using a Dante digital audio network.
During the Dynacord Academies, participants receive firsthand information from Dynacord’s experts. They can address their individual challenges on sound reinforcement solutions and receive tailored advice for their own specific requirements and experience levels. After the two-day series of seminars, the organisers drew a positive balance: Enthusiastic participants, a tremendous atmosphere and extremely positive feedback prove that the Academy concept meets the participants’ demands spot on.
