Due to numerous user requests and continued high demand, Dynacord is giving the enclosures of the Xa-2 system an update. Traditional applications of Xa-2 sound reinforcement system include small city open-air festivals and mobile DJ events covering distances up to 40 meters. All cabinets will have a new heavy-duty structured lacquer surface and a solid-steel front grille matching the latest Dynacord enclosure design. The front grille caters for increased stability while the structured lacquer surface provides increased protection from dust and dirt and ensures the Xa-2 system remains even more durable. The Xa-2 system offers high sound pressure levels and ultimate sonic performance out of a very compact enclosure as well as extremely convenient handling. As of May 2015, the popular Xa-2 system will carry the new name Xa2-PRO system and consist of the following components:

  • FX12-PRO 12” horn-loaded coaxial two-way loudspeaker cabinet with a maximum sound pressure level of 134 dB / 1m
  • FX20-PRO 18” planar waveguide bass horn armed with an EVX 180B woofer. The frequency range from 30 Hz to 150 Hz is reproduced with a maximum sound pressure level of 132 dB / 1m
  • Xa 4000 two-channel system power amplifier. The lightweight two-rack unit power amplifier boasts a state-of-the-art switch-mode power supply. The output power is 1100 W in the Sub channel and 900 W in the Top channel (into 4 ohms each)
