Built in 1963, St. Joseph’s Social Church is where Catholics in and around the industrial and IT Hub of Kerala gather to worship and attend mass.
During the recent renovation of the church, a new and more powerful audio solution with a simple yet elegant setup was required. The goal was to enable sermons to be delivered more clearly to parishioners and for them to be fully immersed in praise and worship. While the quality of the speakers was important, they also needed to blend in aesthetically with the church’s elegant design.
After assessing the needs of the venue, installer Suus Electronics proposed the Electro-Voice EVF speakers, Q series amplifiers and DC-One processing inside the church. Weather-resistant EVID 4.2 speakers are installed at the church entrance, so churchgoers can hear mass even if they are outside the building.
With the white EVID speakers blending in perfectly with the interior of the church, the next step was to ensure the new sound system is easy to operate and use. Multiple presets were created for the end-user in the DSP so they could start using the system immediately without additional training.
The seamless integration of EV products not only complements the church aesthetically, but also provides rich and clear audio quality. With the excellent support from the installer, the management of St Joseph’s Social Church was extremely pleased with the audio solution from EV.
