Throughout the national roadshow, Brett and Phill showed off the latest pro-sound offering from Electro-Voice |
February and March of this year saw a flurry of Electro-Voice activity across Perth, thanks to the CX Roadshow, our Western Australian distributor, Audio Source, our resident EV experts, Phill Webb and Brett Johnston, and last but not least, our Senior Sound Engineer, Bryan Davidson.
CX Roadshow
Brett and Phill concluded a successful 2014 CX Roadshow in Perth. Throughout the six-city national roadshow, the guys showed off the latest portable and install pro-sound offering from Electro-Voice: ETX Powered Loudspeakers. The ETX family, which includes a 10-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch two-way models, a 15-inch 3-way, and 15- and 18-inch subs, was received extremely well by MI and ProSound dealers, as well as hire and production companies.
EV-Innovation
Two days following the CX Roadshow, Michael and Scott from Audio Source, with the help from the EV team, put on an EV-Innovation invite-only event at a theatre of a local college. The impressive venue at All Saints College, Bull Creek, saw the latest EV line-array loudspeaker system in action, as well as the new ETX Powered Loudspeakers.

Patersons stadium install
Lastly, our senior sound engineer Bryan Davidson, Michael and Scott from Audio Source, and installers from AudioTechnik have been busy installing and commissioning the new EV sound system at Patersons Stadium. Consisting of 22x EVH-1152S-FGB and 16x EVF-1122S-FGB arrays, 11x ZX5-PI weatherized full-range loudspeakers, 14x CPS4.10 amplifiers with RCM-810 modules, and 4x ION MTS Cobranet converters, the EV system sets a new level of sound distribution quality for this historical stadium. From all reports, the sound system blew people away during the first Australian Football League fixture at the stadium.
