The Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services Department (KBITS) located in Bangalore — the IT capital of India — is an organisation which helps to facilitate and promote the Information Technology and Biotech sectors in the state by organising as well as participating in road shows, trade shows, conferences, meetings and seminars at both national and international levels.
KBITS plays a key role in promoting the growth of IT and Biotechnology companies and often organises international and national conferences. In order to facilitate such meetings, KBITS required unobtrusive microphones that would complete their conference system.
Installer, Hansa Pictures (P) Ltd, proposed the installation of the Electro-Voice PolarChoice (PC) multi-pattern boundary layer microphones. Nine microphones were installed in each meeting room for local sound reinforcement and video conferencing applications. Most importantly, to create a professional-looking meeting room, the microphones were installed with all cables well concealed. The management is impressed with the quality and aesthetics of the microphones and pleased with how they have a solution that meets their needs while working within their budget.
