The Ramada Singapore at Zhongshan Park combines contemporary elegance, comfort, and convenience for business and leisure travelers. With 540 square meters of meeting and banquet space, the Ramada Singapore offers a perfect setting for corporate meetings, wedding banquets, and private parties.
Working closely with AV consultants Acoustic & Environmental Solutions Pte Ltd, Concept Systems Technologies Pte Ltd. was awarded the tender to install the AV systems into two of the function rooms. Intelligibility was cited as the main criteria for the audio component, which needed to cater to events ranging from simple speech reinforcement to high-SPL live performances.
A distribution of 18 Electro-Voice EVID C12.2 ceiling speakers ensure even dispersion and clarity for speeches, conference, and background music in the function rooms, powered by PA2400T amplifiers. The Concept Systems Technologies team carefully plotted the rooms in order to place the speakers for optimal performance, successfully navigating the challenges posed by the 5.3-meter room height and three large chandeliers. The resulting installation provides the prerequisite intelligibility while helping maintain the aesthetics of the space.
To enable Ramada Singapore to cater to clients with higher SPL events, two EVA line-arrays were added according to the orientation of the function rooms. Powered by CPS2.12 amplifiers, left and right arrays of two EVA-2082S front-loaded full-range modules were each flown alongside a single EVA-1151D 15-inch subwoofer. With the EV solutions provided at the Ramada Singapore, event organisers can expect to receive excellent service and impeccable function spaces complemented by a quality audio and visual set-up.
