Yamaha’s new flagship mixing console, RIVAGE PM10, will be the centrepiece of the company’s stand at IBC 2015, alongside the latest version of the Nuage post-production system. In addition, there will also be many other important products for the broadcast market on show.
RIVAGE PM10 mixing console
Yamaha is exhibiting on Stand A69 in Hall 8 at the Amsterdam RAI, where RIVAGE PM10 will be the subject of one-to-one demonstrations by Yamaha technical staff. Featuring many exceptional innovations, the new console brings yet greater levels of quality, flexibility, functionality and reliability to Yamaha’s iconic PM name, delivering a true industry milestone for large format digital mixers.
Nuage V1.7 software
Aiding enhanced efficiency in everyday tasks, as well as providing a significant boost to studio productivity and output quality, Yamaha’s state-of-the-art Nuage DAW system is ideal for commercial applications ranging from audio post production to music recording and mixing. The latest Version 1.7 software will be on demonstration, featuring support for Steinberg Nuendo 7, as well as adding a multitude of control improvements, support for GPI devices for improved studio communication and greater control for Avid Pro Tools with plug-in and shortcut assignments.
CL and QL digital consoles
The established CL and QL ranges of digital consoles will be on demonstration, both of which feature many broadcast-friendly features. These include 5.1 Surround Panning, Surround Monitoring, Mix Minus, Frame Delay and Buss Comp 369 compressor in the Premium Rack. Yamaha will be also be highlighting the new TF range of digital consoles. With features aimed at new users and experienced professionals alike, but at a remarkably competitive price point, the TF range is ideal for community, hospital, internet and other broadcast situations where budgets are tight, yet a comparatively small outlay can deliver a very powerful, intuitive and fast to operate mixer.
Complementing the consoles on the Yamaha stand will be the new RMio64D Dante/MADI converter and the RSio64-D Dante/Mini-YGDAI interface.
RMio64D Dante/MADI converter
The RMio64-D seamlessly converts between Dante and MADI formats (and vice versa), its built-in sample rate convertors ensuring users can simply connect and forget about it without having to worry about noise, dropouts or any other word clock issues.
RSio64-D Dante/Mini-YGDAI interface
The RSio64-D converts between Dante and Yamaha’s Mini-YGDAI card formats for up to 64 inputs and 64 outputs. It includes four Mini-YGDAI slots to host cards for a wide variety of input/output formats, as well as processing functions that can be connected to a Dante network for many applications. The RSio64-D also supports remote setup from CL and QL series consoles.
Yamaha staff will be on hand throughout IBC 2015 to demonstrate products and answer questions. The exhibition takes place from 11th -15th September 2015.
