JBL VTX Line Array Series receives award in the PA system category at the Prolight & Sound show in Frankfurt

Reinforcing HARMAN JBL Professional's position as the world's most innovate developer and manufacturer of line array loudspeaker technology, the JBL VTX Line Array Series earned a 2013 MIPA Award in the PA System category at the Prolight & Sound show in Frankfurt. This marks the second straight year that the VTX Series has earned the prestigious award.

"Over the past year, we have seen widespread deployment of VTX for some of the world’s most widely-viewed events and in some of the world’s most prestigious performance venues,” said Paul Bauman, Senior Manager, Tour Sound, JBL Professional. “We are thrilled to continue the momentum with this second consecutive MIPA Award, which serves as further indication of the success we have enjoyed with VTX. Over the past year, VTX has been used for high-profile events including the GRAMMY Awards, the U.S. Presidential Inauguration, 12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief, the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Coca-Cola Thailand’s “Real Voice, Real Talent” concert, BMW China’s Olympic Festival, the Emporium Music Festival, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant, the iHeartRadio Music Festival, as well as Lenny Kravitz’ European tour and Neil Diamond’s world tour, among others. VTX systems have also been installed in such venues as Lakewood Church, The Theater at Madison Square Garden, the Tabernacle in Atlanta and the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas for Carlos Santana’s House Residency.
