Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, recently introduced Dave Nazir as Regional Manager for the Middle East and Africa. Nazir will be based in Dubai and will report to Biamp Regional Director of Europe, Mex Exner.
"We've seen significant growth in the Middle East and Africa, and we expect this to continue in 2012 and beyond," said Exner. "Dave is ideally suited to support this growth and will be a reliable and knowledgeable resource for our customers in this region. He shares Biamp's passion for sound and is willing to go above and beyond what is asked of him for our customers. His presence will have an immediate impact on our customers' business and we're glad to welcome him to the team."
Dave Nazir comes to Biamp from Omnix Promedia where he was a Design Manager serving the Arabian Gulf Market, in charge of client collaboration, system design schematics and analysis of design concept implementation on site. Major projects completed included the Ministry of Presidential Affairs in Abu Dhabi, Microsoft HQ in Dubai and Atlantis Resort in Jumeirah Dubai.
Nazir will support all of the Middle East and Africa while Prashant Govindan, currently Biamp's Regional Manager for IMEA, will focus on India and south Asia, as this area has also seen great growth in the recent past and is expected to continue to grow.
