Miller will support the global development of Vocia voice evacuation platform |
Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, recently announced that it has made an addition to its international sales team. The company has promoted Dane Miller to International Paging Vertical Market and Business Development Manager, where he will support the global development of Vocia, Biamp's flagship voice evacuation platform. Miller will work out of Biamp's London office and will report directly to Biamp Vice President of International Sales, Graeme Harrison.
"Dane fills a vital role for the international sales team, our company and our customers," said Harrison. "We expect to see an increase in sales for Vocia in 2012, as the product develops and shows its value in the market. Having worked on it from before its launch, Dane will be the ideal manager for this key vertical market internationally. I'm excited to see our customers benefit from having such a well-qualified individual helping meet their needs."
Miller has specialised in Vocia since joining Biamp in 2008 as an applications engineer in Biamp's Brisbane office. He was heavily involved in the initial product development and beta testing, and created all of the technical documentation for Vocia's first release. After moving to London, he continued to be deeply involved with Vocia technical support and system design.
"Since launching Vocia, we've received very positive feedback and have seen its market share slowly but surely continue to grow," said Miller. "We remain committed to innovating our products and providing customers with the best service and support possible. I'm excited to be part of such a great team and look forward to demonstrating Vocia's full potential."
