| ProVisionaire Touch app allows wireless remote control of MTX/MRX series signal processors via custom control panels |
Yamaha has announced the launching of ProVisionaire Touch application for iPad at InfoComm 2015.
This versatile application allows wireless remote control of MTX/MRX series signal processors via custom control panels that can be easily designed by the user to meet the needs of individual commercial spaces such as conference rooms, retail stores, restaurants, banquet halls, and more.
ProVisionaire Touch makes it easy to arrange faders, switches, photos and other widgets via the intuitive tablet device interface to create original touch control panels that ideally match individual installation and control requirements. No programming know-how or experience is necessary.
Multiple pages are provided so that control panels with individual presets and parameter settings optimised for different zones and/or users can be created and made available as necessary. Three passcode levels can be used to limit user access to specific control panels, enhancing security as well as overall operating convenience.
Completed control panels can be exported as data files. The exported data files can be used as templates for multiple iPads at the same installation, or when setting up a new installation at a different location. This thoughtful feature can make a notable difference in setup speed and efficiency.
Since MTX/MRX devices are controlled via Wi-Fi, the iPad can be mounted on any convenient wall surface and used as a wall controller, or it can be used handheld for maximum remote control freedom and convenience when setting up a new system.
ProVisionaire touch offers enhanced control and convenience for MTX/MRX series processors, providing significant advantages for commercial sound system installation as well as day-to-day operation.
